We designed and built the garden at The Pony in Chew Magna working closely with the team behind the pub’s relaunch to create something rooted in the landscape and built to last.

The planting follows the soft slopes of the Chew Valley and is designed to cope with the changing weather patterns that pass through the area. It brings seasonal interest all year and supports the kitchen with fresh, edible crops grown just a few steps from the door.

In the adjoining field, we established a ‘no dig’ kitchen garden — productive, low-intervention, and built to supply the pub’s evolving menu.
